Our Commitment to Building Community
During your time at Detroit Mercy, our goal is that you will experience community through a sense of belonging, safety and a connection with others by building authentic relationships. You will also learn to honor the intrinsic value of the individual and recognize God’s presence in each person.
Journey: A Christian Student Community
Journey is our weekly gathering for students to talk about faith in college. It is a chance to talk with peers about navigating faith and spirituality in college. Our meetings are made up of fellowship, prayer, reflection, conversation and snacks!
Ways to Connect
M.U.G. Hour (Mingle, Unwind, & Gather)
- On Wednesdays at 3:00 p.m. stop by the office for snacks, sips, and conversation.
Fun First Fridays
- On Sundays (Specific Dates available on Instagram ) join University Ministry for a time of conversation, reflection, prayer and food. Spend time with friends in community speaking about various faith topics and sharing time over a meal.
